LIPZ remains the preferred airport because of its proximity to Venice and direct access to water transportation, but operators planning stays longer than 24 hours should build a repositioning strategy into the mission from the outset.

- LIPZ requires PPR for GA operations, with parking approval incorporated into the PPR process.
- During the Film Festival, aircraft parking at LIPZ will be limited to 24 hours.
- Parking requests are prioritized based on when they are received. Requests made less than two hours before arrival may not receive a stand except for quick-turn operations.
- Operational handling information is expected 36 hours before scheduled arrival.
- LIPZ normally operates 0600-2200 local.
- Treviso (LIPH) and Trieste (LIPQ) are the closest practical repositioning alternatives.
- Milan Linate (LIML) is another option when parking availability is the priority.
- Passenger transportation requires additional coordination because movement between LIPZ, Venice and the Lido often depends on water taxis rather than conventional ground transportation.
- No aviation-related strikes or other major disruptions are currently expected during the event. A rail strike announced for Sept. 7 is not expected to affect business aviation operations.
