Job Description

The Carbon Data Manager and Analyst will be responsible for gathering consumption and carbon data, validating and uploading data to World Kinect Energy Services online platform (Kinect Online). The main tasks involve collection of relevant carbon data as input for generation of various carbon reports.  The goal is to process, verify and maintain the quality of carbon data presented on World Kinect Energy Services online platform (Kinect Online).

Qualifications

Working closely with the CFR (Carbon Footprint Reporting) team and Data Management team the role holder will be responsible for:

  • Gathering and validating emission factors and carbon data across Scopes 1, 2 and 3
  • Contacting suppliers and various companies globally to request carbon and consumption data. 
  • Preparing internal quality check reports to ensure accurate data
  • Analyzing carbon data and taking out different carbon reports
     
  
  • Knowledge of carbon footprint reporting is essential.
  • Analytical skills and numerate ability is essential.
  • Analytical work experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the environmental field or other related fields
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately is essential.
  • Strong teamwork skills are essential but also the ability to work independently on projects.
  • The ability and willingness to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and accurately is essential.
