Andy has been in the energy industry for 14 years, with a focus on North American natural gas and power markets. At World Kinect Energy Services since 2015, Andy helps clients navigate market volatility and unpredictability by designing and managing custom risk management strategies. Andy utilizes in-depth fundamental and technical analysis to identify distinct market risks and opportunities that inform the custom-tailored advice given to clients.
Andy also manages and maintains World Kinect Energy Services’ suite of client-facing market intelligence publications and is an experienced public speaker, presenting on complex energy market-related topics at a variety of conferences and trade shows across the country as well as via webinars and other virtual meeting settings.
Marcel Boonaert
Global Director Portfolio Management
Marcel has been in the energy industry for almost 25 years with experience in Pricing, Forecasting, Asset Optimisation, Risk Management, and Trading. Recent roles include leading Shell’s entry into the UK, Dutch and German markets by developing operational requirements to monetise supply and PPA contracts. Marcel has strong hands-on experience in operations as well as quantitative modelling and technical strategy development using tools such as python, TradeSignal, and SQL as well as various ETRM systems. Marcel has also gained leadership skills having led trading and operational teams at Wingas and EDF.
