Puerto Plata International Airport is located on the northern shore of the Dominican Republic, just north of Santiago de Los Caballeros, the biggest city in this part of the island. The airport is open 24 hours a day and has one runway (8/26). While its main business is commercial aviation, it has significant GA traffic. The FBO is part of the commercial building but has a separate entry and is away from the commercial check-in area.

La Romana International Airport, Casa de Campo, opened in 2000, is a 24-hour airport with one runway (11/29). The airport was built not only to give support to the people living in this area so they wouldn’t have to make the hour-plus trip to Santo Domingo but also to meet the needs of the growing Casa de Campo resort (which ran the old airport and began to exceed its capacity). The airport’s focus is more on BGA than commercial, as evidenced by the number of parking stands available for each type (40+ to 7, respectively).

Punta Cana International Airport, MDPC, is located on the eastern shore of the Dominican Republic. It is a privately owned airport surrounded by lavish, all-inclusive resorts and is among the busiest airports in the Caribbean. The airport is open 24 hours a day and has two runways (9/27 and 8/26). From west to east, there is an FBO terminal, a cargo terminal, two commercial terminals, and a VIP terminal. The VIP terminal is reserved for members only, so most GA traffic will operate through the FBO terminal.

Aeropuerto Las Américas (MDSD) serves the capital city of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo. While commercial and cargo traffic are the primary focus, business aviation movements can be very significant depending on the season, due to tourism being the main source of income for the small Caribbean country. MDSD is open 24 hours a day but only has one runway (17/35). From north to south, there is a cargo terminal, two commercial terminals (A and B), and a general aviation terminal/FBO. Each one has its own designated ramp.

San Jose Del Cabo International Airport, managed by private company Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, is the biggest and most important airport in the Los Cabos region. It’s a seasonal location, with the high season between November and April. The peak days are during Christmas time, and it is not unusual for the airport to be at 100% capacity around the holidays. The airport is open from 0700 to 2100 LCL (with extensions to 2300 LCL being granted on special occasions) and, like Cabo San Lucas, has one runway (16/34) and one taxiway. There are three well-defined areas at the airport.

Cabo San Lucas International Airport is undergoing a revitalization. A new commercial aviation terminal across the runway from the general aviation building and two large hangars recently opened. The airport is managed by a private company, Cabo San Lucas Airport, which also manages the FBO.

Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport is located outside of Abuja, Nigeria's capital. The airport has a single runway (4/22) with domestic and international commercial terminals and a separate GA terminal and apron. A new international terminal was built and inaugurated in 2023, and it can process 15 million passengers annually. Nigeria's aviation industry is expected to grow rapidly over the coming years, as evidenced by this new terminal and other construction taking place in and around the airport.

Murtala Muhammed International Airport (DNMM/LOS) in Lagos, Nigeria, serves as a major gateway to the country. It features two terminals, modern facilities, and efficient cargo handling, connecting Nigeria to global destinations and promoting trade and tourism.
